Using insulation foam, acrylic, and wire mesh to create layers of translucent textures, fragmented light emits in a variety of tones and textures. I created two versions, both cubic.
01 is simply foam spread on acrylic, a bare offering of the necessary materials for this study. 02 explores not only foam spread on acrylic, but also includes foam pressed between sheets of acrylic, and foam spread acros varying densities of mesh at random.
